Key Responsibilities for the Accountant: -
Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close.

Monitor and process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R), assist in collections, and maintain vendor communication.

Prepare payroll journal entries and ensure accurate GL allocation.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Produce clear and timely financial reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Reconcile bank activity and accurately reflect ACH payments.

Update and manage forecasting and operational reports, including occupancy metrics.

Act as a financial partner to operational teams, providing guidance, training, and support.

Mentor and support business office staff across multiple locations, ensuring consistent compliance.

Assist with audits, procurement processes, and ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications for the Accountant: -
A degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

2+ years of professional accounting experience.

Strong understanding of general ledger (GL), accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R) processes.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to balance independence with effective team collaboration.

Proficient in Excel and accounting systems; bonus if you've trained or supported others on financial tools.
