About The Position The
Account Servicing Specialist (Admin) will be responsible for performing tasks which support the Loan Servicing division.
Essential Responsibilities: - Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
- Accurately document accounts with any pertinent information and/or updates.
- Prepare and submit payment deferment and due date change correspondence.
- Initiate repossession efforts on designated accounts.
- Communicate with repossession agents to provide new information and obtain updates on assignments.
- Responsible for following up on the impound notifications.
- Prepare and submit the impound documents for invoicing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in the finance industry, preferably in the subprime consumer or auto lending industry.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
- Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Salary: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
