About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Account Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new business and nurturing existing client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to launch their sales career and contribute to our continued success by building strong relationships with our valued customers and trade partners.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer service-related inquiries.
- Assist customers with scheduling deliveries and managing logistics.
- Develop and create accurate custom quotes for clients.
- Build a strong understanding of our products and become a knowledgeable resource for trade partners.
- Support the management of customer-related requests efficiently and professionally.
- Proactively manage customer expectations and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Review and process trade partner applications.
- Assist clients with quoting, technical questions, and product knowledge inquiries.
- Support the order processing workflow, including pushing orders to production and managing Purchase Orders (POs).
- Manage holds and ship dates based on customer requests.
- Document and relay customer requests effectively within the organization.
- Participate in local networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
- Begin to manage and grow a book of accounts to achieve individual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have weekday availability from 10:00AM to 7:00PM
- 0-1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, sales, or account management (B2B and/or B2C experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply product knowledge effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite preferred). Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- An interest in interior design, construction, and home improvement is a plus.
