Account Representative
Job Description
The Account Representative is responsible for business development, retention and maintenance of clients for Laboratory Services, Employee Assistance Program and Occupational Medicine.
Department: Communications
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Required: Bachelors Degree and valid driver's license
Pay: Based on experience, starting at $54,808.00
Responsibilities
Acts as a liaison between the Health System and community resources by providing market feedback., Assists with customer satisfaction survey processes as needed., Develops customer proposals and contracts for services. Negotiates pricing of services and closes sales, as appropriate , Identifies market needs/opportunities and makes recommendations for new product/service development., Identifies potential customers from a base of business, industry and health care providers, to sell designated programs and services that support the directives and growth of the Health System. Designated services include, but are not limited to, reference lab, diagnostic services, occupational health, and employee assistance program., Provides ongoing service and support for all services sold., Provides troubleshooting of problem areas and alerts department leaders of opportunities for service improvement., Schedules appointments and meets with potential and existing clients to determine services needed. Responds to general inquiries about Health System services from schools, business, and industry. Maintains a database of prospective and current clients., Supports the promotion of all SBL services in the appropriate geographic areas with a focus on the fiscal year marketing growth areas/plans., Uses database software to track meetings with potential customers as well as document pertinent notes/information from marketing interactions., Works with Communications to design promotional material for marketed services., Works with Community Outreach staff to develop participation schedule for SBL community outreach activities including but not limited to Dine with a Doc, SBL Binga, Interagency programs, health fairs, trade shows, community parades and festivals and other promotional events., Works with department leaders to track referrals, sales, revenue and volume for marketed services, based on established goals.
