ScaffoldMart is looking for an organized and proactive Account Management Assistant to join our team. In this hybrid role based in the Columbia, SC area, you'll play a key part in supporting account onboarding and ongoing management activities to ensure smooth operations for both our clients and internal teams. You'll be working alongside a team of young professionals at a fast-growing, family-owned and operated business. We are a nationally distributed brand of scaffolding products working large scale companies. We offer a professional, collaborative environment that balances flexibility with a strong commitment to results. While the majority of the work can be performed remotely, occasional in-person collaboration is preferred. In addition to core account management responsibilities, occasional personal assistant tasks may also be required. Flexible hours are available, and there is strong potential for the role to expand into a full-time position as the company continues to grow.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (comfortable creating and managing spreadsheets)
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a remote team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Reliable transportation for occasional in-person meetings (Columbia, SC area)
- Proactive attitude with the ability to identify areas for improvement, take initiative, and drive efficiency without needing constant direction
