DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate a wide range of personal lines applications (homeowners, auto, umbrella), make sound underwriting decisions.
Collaborate closely with internal sales and external partners to ensure both profitability and exceptional service.
Evaluate risks by analyzing data, assessing customer information, and interpreting underwriting guidelines and policies.
Make informed underwriting decisions and provide recommendations for coverage, exclusions, and pricing.
Communicate with producers, clients, and other stakeholders to clarify information and resolve underwriting issues.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of personal lines underwriting experience.
P&C license.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risk.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
