As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing relationships with our existing accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing a book of business and generating revenue from assigned accounts.
- Serving as the main point of contact for all products and services offered by our organization.
- Building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with your customer base to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Reviewing accounts to identify opportunities for growth and converting them to a higher level of service.
- Establishing demand for our products by collaborating with National and Regional accounts.
- Developing and maintaining sales territory for smaller accounts in secondary and tertiary markets, focusing on sales and customer relations.
- Conducting regular strategy meetings to understand customer needs and align them with our product/service offerings.
- Coordinating sales forecasts and managing customer setups within Medline's systems.
- Creating new products to sell to both existing and new customers.
- Strategically increasing revenue from each account.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of quota-based sales experience (cold calling experience is essential) or at least 5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Intermediate skills in SAP and Microsoft Excel, including various functions like SUM, sorting, and charting.
The anticipated compensation includes a guaranteed first-year earnings of $100,000, with a minimum base salary of $75,000 and the potential to earn additional commission. You'll also be eligible for bonuses.
