Description
We are seeking a driven and experienced Account Manager to oversee contracts and sales within the industrial sector, focusing on ISO 9001 standards, private label products, and government contracts. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing relationships and driving growth across various markets, including motorsports, automotive, and industrial vehicles. The Account Manager will play a key role in pursuing and maintaining business opportunities while meeting the unique needs of a diverse customer base.
Requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the industrial, government, and private label sectors. Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations, sales inquiries, and ongoing support.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the private label and government contract space. Develop proposals and presentations to address client needs and expand market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all contracts, production processes, and deliverables align with ISO 9001 quality standards. Support audits and maintain compliance documentation.
- Manage accounts related to the race industry, including headers, exhausts, and custom components. Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet performance specifications for a variety of vehicles.
- Oversee the lifecycle of government and private label contracts, including submission, execution, and renewal. Ensure all deliverables are met according to client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Address additional needs for industrial, commercial, and specialized vehicles by coordinating with design, production, and quality assurance teams.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure all client projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and trust.
Experience:- 5+ years in Account Management, sales, or business development, preferably in the industrial, automotive, or motorsports sectors.
- Proven track record of managing contracts and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Experience working with government contracts and private label accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, CRMS's and ERP Systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Background in automotive or motorsports engineering or production.
- Experience working with headers, exhaust systems, and other vehicle components.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
