Summary

This position will be responsible for ALIGN PRECISION's internal sales functions for both external & inter-company Customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains excellent Customer relationships focused on delivery, trust & loyalty.

Serve as main point of contact with customers - acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.

Collaborates with the ALIGN Business Development team and business unit sales teams.

Interprets technical drawings and requirements

Maintain a thorough awareness of ALIGN - Tuscaloosa's capabilities and the capabilities of its suppliers.

Maintain ownership of quote package and LTA accuracy, timeliness & completion.

Works as the gatekeeper of quoting opportunities and provides direction to the estimating team and engineering planning & delegating where necessary.

Sustain a continual connection with Operations to understand current capacity and project statuses.

Works with Engineering to provide technical details needed to build estimates.

Organizes and facilitates quote review meetings.

Seeks and processes Customer feedback in relation to our performance in estimating.

Work as a driver to resolve Customer complaints.

Follows up on leads to take advantage of applicable sales opportunities.

Travels when necessary.

Owns and maintains an accurate sales database to provide opportunity history, customer contact information and win/loss ratio.

Analyzes sales performance against Operational execution to determine effectiveness.

Prepares periodic sales report displaying sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed Customer base expansion.

Create & deliver peripheral Customer deliverables (NDA's, capability scopes, small business reporting ect.)

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in related manufacturing field

3 years work experience in estimating, manufacturing, or sales or equivalent combination of education/experience

Understanding of complex manufacturing

Working knowledge of Blueprint reading

Experience with customer relationship management

Fluency with Microsoft office


Language Skills

Ability to communicate professionally and tactfully both written and verbal

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Ability to manage data

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form


Computer Skills

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)

CAD software proficiency preferred

Salesforce proficiency preferred
