Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager with a background in manufacturing, construction, or related fields. This role will support inside sales operations and client relationship management for wholesale distribution partners. The Account Manager will play a key role in driving revenue through excellent customer service, accurate order processing, and cross-functional coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for wholesale distribution clients regarding product inquiries, order status, and support
- Accurately process orders, provide pricing, and follow up on quotes and proposals
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Maintain detailed customer records and generate sales reports
- Analyze market activity and customer trends to identify new business opportunities
- Stay informed about product updates and industry developments
- Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or customer support within the manufacturing, pipe, or construction industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience handling orders, managing customer data, and supporting sales processes
