The Opportunity - Account Manager
Garfield Refining is a leader in the precious metal refining industry. Located in Philadelphia, PA since 1892, Garfield delivers award-winning customer service to the dental, jeweler, pawnbroker, manufacturing, and death-care fields. We are looking for a sales-forward Account Manager to join our team and be a key player in developing and maintaining client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction across B2B and B2C deals. You'll work closely with both new and existing clients in a high-volume and fast-paced environment to finalize deals and provide exceptional customer service post-sale.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and growth.
- Identify sales opportunities by understanding client needs.
- Work to convert inbound and outbound leads from prospects to loyal repeat clients.
- Resolve customer concerns.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance the client experience.
- Maintain CRM with accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows and networking events.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive more sales and ensure client needs are met.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Minimum 2 years of Account Management or B2B (it's also B2C on privates).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills both over the phone and in person.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues or needs.
- Confidence working with numbers, including basic math and percentages.
- The ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required-we provide comprehensive training).
