DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Industrial Automation organization looking to bring on an Account Manager for their Nashville territory.

As an Account Manager, your primary focus will be on driving business growth through cold calling, building a sales pipeline, and closing deals within the realm of Industrial Automation. You will oversee the entire sales cycle in your designated territory, collaborating closely with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Key Account Managers to ensure seamless project coordination and achievement of sales targets. Your role will involve generating new business and maintaining existing accounts within your territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and articulate the industrial product line to both prospective and existing customers.
  • Establish and nurture direct business relationships, engaging in continuous dialogue to offer tailored solutions for customer projects.
  • Collaborate with Specifying Engineers, End Users, Distributors, Resellers, and Manufacturers' Representatives.
  • Identify customer product requirements and work with field sales specialists to deliver comprehensive product solutions.
  • Manage existing accounts, secure orders, and develop new accounts by reaching out to current and potential clients within your territory.
  • Direct sales efforts by analyzing existing accounts and past challenges, adjusting sales presentations accordingly.
  • Keep management updated through monthly activity reports and territory analyses.
  • Stay informed about market trends by collecting current information on pricing, products, new releases, and competitor activities.
  • Address customer complaints by investigating issues, devising solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Boost sales and market share within your territory through consistent customer engagement, lead follow-up, and cold calling.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure product availability and resolve technical customer service issues.
  • Participate in networking events within your assigned territory.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial sales required.
  • Proven ability to identify and cultivate new customer relationships for revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
