Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for day-to-day customer account management, executing sales and marketing strategies, supporting technical marketing initiatives for new products, and serving as the primary liaison between customers and factory teams. The role is instrumental in achieving the company's profit and growth objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage direct customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Act as liaison between U.S. customers and engineering/production teams in Japan and Singapore.
- Plan and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and technology targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports: daily and weekly status updates, and monthly sales reviews (PowerPoint).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the factory to prepare quotations; negotiate customer proposals and contracts.
- Conduct sales visits and attend industry conferences.
- Educate and support customers on products and technical details.
- Domestic travel (e.g., TX, ID, CT) 2-6 times per quarter.
- Occasional travel to Singapore or Japan for onboarding, training, or customer support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, technical sales, or a sales management role.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical abilities.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Flexibility to accommodate evening meetings with Asia-based teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Preferred:
- Experience in the semiconductor industry, especially in lithography, photomask, or chemical engineering.
- Background in process engineering within a multinational company.
