We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our award winning Houston based staffing agency. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs, and ensuring the delivery of top-tier talent to meet those needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for staffing needs.
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring requirements, including job specifications, company culture, and timelines.
  • Talent Sourcing Coordination: Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure the identification and placement of qualified candidates that align with client expectations.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand client accounts by offering additional staffing solutions and services.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights to clients.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as client retention, placement success rates, and revenue growth.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including recruitment, HR, and finance, to streamline processes and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Previous experience in account management, sales, or client-facing roles within the staffing / recruitment industry.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of staffing industry trends and best practices is a plus.
  • Client-centric with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
