JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Manager will be responsible for executing Laminam's strategy to penetrate the Retail business channel through the fabricator and showroom markets, creating new opportunities to develop sales in the local market, by maintaining existing accounts and opening new accounts with key target locations.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the fabricated surfaces sector dealing with retailers, stone fabricators, and high-end Interior Designers. You are organized, attentive to details, and are passionate about customer service and building business relationships. You are enthusiastic about Laminam products and the future of surfaces in residential settings. You are an excellent communicator and presenter, using your influence and persuasion to convert sales and buying habits. If you are a self-starter who loves to control the sales cycle from cradle to grave you will excel in this role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as our client's main point of contact, managing the customer relationship, helping them promote the brand and generate profitable sales for both client and Laminam.

Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.

Develop, cultivate, and grow Laminam's product awareness, acceptance, and sales to the Kitchen & Bath segment and high-end Interior Designers, including their support network of fabricators and other potential related clients, such as home improvement, cabinet makers and builders.

Jointly work with Director of Kitchen & Bath Sector to prepare action plans to develop the local market. This includes setting up quarterly targets on various business aspects: forecasting sales, growth of client portfolio, number of expected scheduled client visits and participation on events, placement of merchandising on retailers, among others.

Perform multiple sales calls/meetings daily, including cold-calling prospect new clients.

Actively update CRM database (Salesforce) with accounts, leads, registering all meetings and sales calls, projects management and quotes, samples provided to the market, display placements and other CRM tools available in the system.

Manage Laminam's merchandising tools at clients' showrooms, to ensure market is properly equipment with samples and displays to promote sales. This includes customer's samples library and displays, installing Laminam Towers and counter displays at retailers, replenishing sample stock at retailers as required.

Conduct regular formal product presentations (including Lunch & Learns, CEUs) to K&B dealers, designers, and targeted organizations, to promote the products and applications, using corporate presentation tools.

Organize Laminam events to the K&B and Design communities, such as to NKBA local chapter, to promote the Laminam, increasing loyalty and brand recognition.

Attend and represent the Laminam brand on local industry events, such as NKBA events, IIDA, Industry related Trade Shows.

Learn in-depth knowledge and expertise on all Laminam products and technical aspects, to become a resource and brand ambassador to the K&B community and their support network (such as fabricators).

Act as a bridge between clients and local distributors to facilitate the sales flow and order fulfillment.


REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of four years of experience working in sales, preferably working directly with the K&B sector or related industry and Interior Design communities.

Thorough understanding of residential specification

Stone fabrication industry experience is a plus

College degree or higher preferred

Working knowledge of required software programs: Microsoft Office Suit, CRM (SalesForce preferred)

Excellent communication, listening and public speaking skills

Effective time management skills

High sales aptitude, self-motivated

Ability to analyze situation and identify opportunities for success

Effective problem-solving skills

Effective team interaction skills with high aptitude for collaboration with colleagues

Valid driver's license

Ability to travel, work evenings & weekends when necessary


Compensation: Industry competitive Base Salary plus commission
