Position - Due to the growth of the firm, they need a new business development professional in the Grand Rapids / Kalamazoo area
- This person will be calling on a variety of personnel, including upper-level decision-makers at leveraging accounts
- This person will be responsible for the marketing and sale of water treatment chemicals to existing and prospective accounts in a variety of industries
- Owns and sets account plans/goals/priorities for customers, both short and long-term
- Manages and owns the overall account relationship with customers and is the "face" of the firm to the customer
- The position is home-office based and overnight travel will be infrequent
Qualifications - 3-5 years of industrial water treatment sales and/or service experience is required
- Experience serving water treatment accounts in this geography is highly preferred
- Since part of this role is new business development, a "hunter" sales mentality is desired
- The company values self-motivated individuals who have strong communication and interpersonal skills
