Account Manager Decatur, GA - Natural Stone POSITION OVERVIEW The Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with assigned account base customers, with intentions to maximize sales/profit for every account and most importantly to expand CR market penetration within the assigned area. The Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. This position will be required to build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships with current customers and prospects to grow sales and to expand CR penetration with Designers, Architects and Builders' segments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts Act as liaison between company and customer for up-to-date communications on products, services, schedules and pricing. Assist with quote preparation, distribution, and confirmation for Custom Home projects. Ability to read and quote from Architectural Plans will be required. Assist assembling and submitting orders for accounts. This includes clarification of payment terms and deposits as well as obtaining all required sign offs and disclaimers. Actively participate in the day-to-day management and service of jobs under your control. Perform all administrative duties within the role, including but not limited to returning emails and calls to Customers, Staff and Vendors Scheduling Design Appointments with customers. Complete drawings / selections / quotes for customers and some project managers as needed. Proactively leads a joint company account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. July 2024 Develops a sales action plan to service accounts with high growth potential, collect strategic "intel", and develop leads from existing account base to better infiltrate designers, architects, and builder's as potential customers. Participates actively with local professional organizations linked with CR's tactics and strategies. Creates and executes specific plan to introduce and implement products in showrooms, remodel and builder accounts to create demand within the market. Expand Forum brand penetration assigning more displays to qualified customers/locations. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. Participate in marketing and promotions when required. Attend Trade Shows, Industry Events, and Local NKBA, NARI, HBA, CEU, and ABC meetings when they coincide with the selected work schedule. Work 4 Saturdays per year at our Design Centers and Showrooms. Assist in collections as requested by Credit Department ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES: Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts. Meets assigned expectations for profitability. Achieves customer objectives defined by company management. Completes customer account plans that meet company standards. Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management. Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution Meets quarterly target expectations as far as CR- Display program once posted Visits every customer, with displays at least once per month, with mandatory report visits via email to Director of Sales. Strategizes, organizes assigned territory/region and plan sales calls weekly. Develops an action plan to approach designers, architects and builders, once fabricator leads are found during weekly visits. Promotes and executes product knowledge (PKs) at customer's location and if possible, invite customers to visit one of CR's branches. Actively participates and leverages branch events as ways to increase sales. COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/ABILITIES Bachelor's degree in design or construction related field, or combination of experience and education 3 years' experience in home design or equivalent work in the custom home design industry 3-5 years' experience/hands-on knowledge within construction industry product sales Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with a hunter mentality in the approach to developing and executing strategic plans. Must have the skillsto discover, create, and develop new opportunities. Requires excellent verbal communication and writing skills, but more importantly the desire, ability, and competitiveness to succeed. Ability to multi-task and work within specified timeframes Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment Self-motivated; driven to close sales Must hold a valid driver's license in good standing Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as 4 Saturdays a year at a Design Center or Showroom.
