As JUNK's
Account Manager for Sporting Goods, you will be empowered to translate strategic concepts into actionable initiatives and pursue substantial sales opportunities in the Minor League Baseball (MiLB) Stadium stores, college fan shop, and sporting goods retailers for a premium brand in a fast-paced, small business environment. Your role will encompass an annual sales mandate, spanning from crafting innovative strategies and nurturing client partnerships, to coordinating orders and diligently engaging with customers to guarantee utmost satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Strategic Excellence
- Craft a robust sales strategy tailored to the unique demands of the MiLB stadiums, college fan shops, and sporting goods retailers. This strategy will encompass both nurturing our existing customer base and proactively pursuing new customer relationships.
- Foster and cultivate strong connections with new and existing customers through a blend of strategic phone calls, personalized emails, and impactful face-to-face interactions.
- Embraces and embody JUNK Brand's core values, consistently demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and respect in all interactions.
- Tactical Mastery
- Efficiently manage order processing, ensuring accurate and timely entry into our system upon receipt of purchase orders.
- Become a recognized authority on JUNK's product line, brand essence, and competitive landscape. This expertise will empower you to passionately discuss a wide array of subjects with potential and existing clients.
- Collaborate seamlessly with sales, production, and fulfillment departments, guaranteeing the punctual dispatch of orders and an impeccable customer experience.
- Exhibit a willingness to embark on business travels, attending trade shows and sales appointments, which could encompass up to 30% of your work time.

- Enthusiasm for travel, as trade shows and sales appointments will necessitate occasional trips.
- Impeccable organizational abilities, ensuring meticulous order processing and coordination across departments.
- Proficient level of technical abilities including computer experience in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience operating in Netsuite, Asana, and Shopify or similar platforms is preferred.
Physical/Mental Requirements - Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend, and move inside the office to access files and product.
- Domestic travel up to 30%
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.
