ToyotaLift Northeast is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This individual is responsible for working with existing customers to educate and promote the various material handling products and services we offer to all levels in an organization.
What You'll Do
- Sale of Toyota lift trucks and associated material handling products
- Develop and present actionable strategies to our customers in the support of the products and services we offer
- Maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts, including "cold calling" on potential new customers.
- Make equipment recommendations and offer material handling systems and solutions.
- Prepare proposals and presentations to support the sales process.
- Prepare and maintain reports both customer- facing and internal.
- Maintain communications with other departments to enhance our value proposition.
- Maintain internal customer information.
- Safely operate lift trucks for demonstration purposes.
- Develop and maintain business plans.
- Additional duties as required or assigned.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree in business-related field
- 3-5 years' experience in sales
- Previous material handling industry experience preferred
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM, computer programs
- Maintain communications with other departments to enhance our value proposition.
- Exceptional customer service, presentation skills and ability to relate to a range of audiences.
- Broad knowledge of the entire sales process required preferred business to business sales experience.
- Requires strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
- Drive for quality results with a minimum of avoidable errors and problems.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to continuously talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control.
- Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle, feel and reach with hands and arms to lift, file and handle inventory
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment under significant stress and meet high performance demands
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
