About the Role:
As an Account Manager - Home Improvement, you will be a key member focused on driving growth and profitability of the business and overall satisfaction with partners that offer our consumer financing products to their customers. Account Managers will utilize many tools to develop relationships and explain financing concepts while independently solving problems.
What You Will Do:
- Work with the Regional Manage and Relationship Manager in your assigned geography to plan, grow, and manage the HI business
- Work in a collaborative and team-focused environment to develop new partnerships with home improvement contractors
- Manage existing partnerships with medium-large home improvement contractors in your region to drive financing activity that results in profitable financing volume
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Sunlight Financials' products and procedures
- Ensure proper onboarding for new installer partners on Sunlight's products and platforms using the phone, email, portal, etc.
- Monitor installer deal pipelines and take proactive action to correct issues and improve overall customer experience
- Collaborate with installers and internal stakeholders to provide customer and market feedback to continuously enhance Sunlight's value proposition and strengthen its market positioning
- Coordinate the delivery of training and educational materials that enable partner success
What You Will Bring:
- 3+ years of strong sales experience and/or account management, background in consumer finance and/or home improvement is a plus
- Strong aptitude and desire to drive sales while managing overall profitability
- Customer focused with the ability to position and evolve Sunlight's value proposition and solve problems to promote growth and positive customer experiences
- Engaging, confident and energetic with the ability to create rapport and inspire action over the phone or in-person
- Ability to travel from time-to-time if needed
- Mastery of Microsoft Office and comfort with web-based applications.
- Experience with a CRM; Salesforce preferred
- A self-starter able to prioritize and work independently
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree preferred
