JOB TITLE: Account Executive, Bay Area

REPORTS TO: Regional Sales and Education Manager

DEPARTMENT: North America Sales


OVERVIEW

The Account Executive will represent Summer Fridays within the Bay Area market. Not to exclude future retailer, brands in the future.


This role serves as a key liaison between Summer Fridays and the retail accounts to positively impact sales through education, sales support and events.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive retail sales in-store by training and developing beauty advisors through education and selling skills.
  • Build strong business relationships with stores sales teams and management.
  • Plan and execute regular store visits within assigned territory.
  • Report on inventory levels, track sales performance by door and identify + communicate opportunities to drive sales.
  • In partnership with RMS, coach and develop your selling specialists on product knowledge, sales techniques and leveraging store relationships.
  • Analyze and review retail sales reports to identify key opportunities.
  • Review and improve YOY all door rankings, growth, and productivity within territory.
  • Communicate space and location opportunities to RMS.
  • Ability to lead and present all types of trainings (virtual trainings/in-store/regional).
  • Plan and execute in-store events in partnership with RMS.
  • Maintain weekly communication with RMS regarding business opportunities, results, successes; complete and submit post-event recaps and weekly reports in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years Account Executive / Education Executive in the cosmetics industry, and Sephora experience preferred.
  • Passion for selling & training in an in-store environment.
  • Goal oriented and ability to make weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to create content and activations.
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and able to create and update PPT presentations.
  • Administratively responsible for timely and accurate reporting and expense control.
  • Ability to travel as needed or up to 30% of time based on territory.
  • Position requires a flexible work schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
  • Some blackout dates based on retailer calendars and events.
  • Enjoys working for fast pace, growth company.
  • Remote position.
  • Must be based in Bay Area.
