Founding Account Executive - Help Build the Future of Construction Tech
A fast-growing, profitable construction tech startup is hiring its first sales hire to scale from single-digit to double-digit millions in ARR. The product is loved by customers, the inbound is strong, and the infrastructure is in place - now we need a sharp, hungry AE to help take us to the next level.
You'll work directly with the founding team to close deals, shape the sales playbook, and define go-to-market strategy. This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership at a company that's already hit product-market fit and has no need to raise further capital.
What you'll be doing:
- Run the full sales cycle, from first call to signed contract
- Close 5-6 figure SaaS deals in a high-trust, consultative way
- Build our outbound motion and refine our inbound process
- Collaborate with product to make customer feedback count
- Help define pricing, GTM, and broader sales ops strategy
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of quota-carrying AE experience at a B2B SaaS company
- Proven ability to close 5-6 figure deals, ideally in construction or a blue-collar adjacent vertical
- Comfortable owning pipeline, writing playbooks, and figuring things out
- A strong communicator who can write great follow-ups and handle objections with confidence
- Based in SF or open to relocating - this role is in-person 5 days/week
