Appstar, a leader in POS technology and payment processing services, is seeking the right candidate to join our Solution Specialists, or Account Executives, Team as a Total Solutions Specialist. This team member plays an integral role in our market penetration strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is capable of working independently to drive business growth.
As a Total Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the full sales cycle, dedicating half of your time to prospecting and self-generating leads, and the other half to building relationships and closing deals with small to medium-sized business (SMB) owners.

You will:
- Establish and nurture relationships with new customers, obtain current processing statements, and close business opportunities with SMB owners quickly.
- Prospect for new customer leads in the small to mid-size business (SMB) space by researching companies and individuals that align with this ideal customer profile.
- Leverage additional technologies such as social media, text, and email to generate a high volume of outbound calls from self-generated leads.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by nurturing self-sourced leads to identify and engage potential customers.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and client communications in CRM software.
- Participate in continuous team and individual training to improve prospecting, outreach, conversion, and tailor pitches effectively.
You Have:
- 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in B2B with short sales cycles.
- An enthusiastic and personable attitude that fosters strong connections with customers.
- Self-motivation and independence, with the ability to learn and apply processes with limited oversight.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision makers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and common sales objections.
- A proactive, 'hunter' mentality, skilled at independently sourcing and developing new leads.
- An ability to oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to value-driven closing.
- A proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
