Founding Account Executive

Our mission is to make carbon accounting easy and effective for the businesses powering our economy. We're a startup driven by clarity, simplicity, and impact, and we're looking for a Founding Account Executive to help us grow the next generation of climate leaders.

This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career who is humble, hungry, and highly coachable. You'll be joining a small but mighty team, working directly with the CEO and founding team, and helping shape the company from the ground up.


What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, follow-ups, and closing deals.
  • Talk to climate-conscious businesses-from small teams to mid-sized companies-and help them understand how Aclymate makes climate action easier.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and customer success to create smooth handoffs and memorable customer experiences.
  • Learn our customers' language and help translate climate action into practical business value.
  • Bring back insights from prospects to help refine our messaging, product, and process.
  • Be part of building a values-driven company culture that's fast-moving but people-first.
  • Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline of prospective customers through outbound and inbound efforts.
  • Experiment with creative outreach strategies to open doors and spark meaningful conversations with mission-aligned businesses.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals with a mix of hustle, strategy, and persistence.
  • Use tools like CRM and sales enablement platforms to track pipeline, analyze conversion metrics, and optimize outreach strategies.

About You

  • You're early in your career but have some experience in sales or customer-facing roles, even if it's not traditional tech sales
  • You're humble, hardworking, and eager to learn - you ask great questions, take feedback well, and don't have to be the loudest voice in the room.
  • You have a bias for action and get stuff done even when things aren't perfect.
  • You care about climate and sustainability, and you want to work on something that matte
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and get excited about building something from scratch.
  • You're energized by building relationships, hitting goals, and helping customers make values-driven decisions.
  • You thrive in a sales environment where curiosity, experimentation, and grit lead to results.
  • You understand how to qualify leads, ask the right questions, and close deals without being pushy.
  • You're both a team player and a self-starter - you're proactive in bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Bonus: You've worked in SMB B2B SaaS, a startup, or the climate space before.
