Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated, results-oriented Account Executive to join our FTL sales team -someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive revenue growth while delivering exceptional value to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across various industries needing Full Truckload transportation solutions.
- Sales Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to prospect, pitch, and close FTL deals.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing accounts and delivering exceptional service to drive retention and expansion.
- Solution Selling: Understand client shipping needs and craft tailored FTL solutions that align with their business goals.
- Market Awareness: Monitor logistics market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor offerings to stay ahead and provide informed insights.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations and customer service to ensure successful execution of shipments and high client satisfaction.
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track all interactions, and keep records up-to-date in CRM tools.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3+ years in logistics, FTL sales, freight brokerage, or a related field.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales goals in a target-driven environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of FTL pricing, contracts, and logistics operations.
- Communication: Clear, confident communication skills and strong presentation abilities.
- Relationship-Oriented: Skilled in developing long-term client relationships and managing accounts.
- Self-Starter: Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and stay motivated.
- Tech-Friendly: Proficient in using CRM platforms and digital sales tools.
