About the Role
As an Account Executive for Symplast, you will focus on cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within the Symplast platform. Success in the role means taking ownership, a work hard /win big attitude, openness to learning, and passion for delivering results. A collaborative professional that is able to articulate customer needs for the practice analyst team and company leadership. You are able to effectively build and manage a robust pipeline and have a demonstrated ability to identify objections, understand competitor products and proactively remove obstacles. Focus areas will include driving new business through lead generation via new customers or advocating through current Symplast customer base. You are resilient in the face of challenges and seek to maintain partnership and alignment with various stakeholders.
Accountabilities
This position is responsible for achieving the sales expectations of an assigned territory. Success is realized by building strong customer and account relationships, conducting consultative sales calls, utilizing solid product/technical knowledge, following a targeted call plan, and developing/maintaining a comprehensive business plan that is focused on driving discovery and or demo calls for the Practice Analyst Team.
- Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory in order to attain quota
- Able to differentiate accounts value proposition needed between Plastic Surgery Centers or Med Spas
- Partner with Symplast Cross functions teams (i.e. Practice Analyst, Marketing, Senior Leadership, etc.) to identify and or pull through selling opportunities
- Execute on national/regional/local promotional activities to drive growth
- Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, environmental changes to sales and marketing leadership and/or Product Development
- Conduct consultative sales calls with Plastic Surgeons, Med Spa owners and all associated staff
- Manage and adhere to expense budgets
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships
- Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge and can impart this knowledge to team/customers
- Complete administrative requirements on time and accurately
- Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company
- Comply with all Corporate and HR policies
Qualifications
- BA in Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 5 + years of B2B sales experience
- 2+ years of medical or SaaS sales; aesthetics industry preferred
- Effective interpersonal interactions, both within the commercial group and more broadly across the organization
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities; and ability to maintain good working relationships while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters and with a wide variety of personal and telephone contacts
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; proficiency in business English and grammar; attention to detail to maintain records and process reports
- Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
- Ability to work independently
