First Rate Products and Managed Hosting are looking for a highly motivated Sales professional to generate new business and increase revenue for our solutions.
The job description is below, with the following focus:
- Managing day-to-day revenue/sales activities focusing on installed and hosted target clients
- Driving sales revenue and develop the pipeline and foundation for future growth. Targeting new business, both directly and indirectly
- Managing processes for pipeline management, forecasting and strategic account development. Achieve sales activity targets for such things as face-to-face call frequency, demo activity, proposal activity, prospect calling, pipeline size and deal closure.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objective and effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
STRATEGIC WORK
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets in enterprise software sales.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Present and demonstrate software solutions effectively to potential clients, addressing business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports through CRM tools.
TACTICAL WORK
- Utilize the First Rate Solution Selling methodology and document all sales activities in the approved Client Relationship Management (CRM) system at least once every five business days.
- Plan and execute travel within the assigned territory efficiently, with an expectation of 5-10 business days per month, leveraging cost-effective travel solutions.
- Engage company and industry subject matter experts (SMEs) when addressing complex sales opportunities.
- Represent First Rate professionally in all interactions with clients, employees, partners, and competitors to enhance the company's reputation.
- Make decisions aligned with First Rate values and policies while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including $2 million in recurring sales and securing 20 qualified prospects from the target client list.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Public speaking ability is a must
- Situational fluency and adaptability skills are required
- Proven sales experience in the financial services industry preferred
- A bachelor's degree in finance or related areas is preferred, MBA a plus
- A CFA or CIPM certificate is a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated negotiation skills are a must
- Technological aptitude is very helpful
- 10 years minimum of direct sales experience
- Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate complex contracts, and close high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, SaaS, cloud solutions, or related technology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
