A leading logistics provider is seeking a Sales Manager / Account Director to drive growth in air and sea freight services. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold-calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Stay informed about industry trends and provide insights to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and logistics processes.
- Experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage is advantageous.
