The Department of Neurology and the Neurosciences Institute of the Albany Med Health System is seeking fellowship trained Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Neurologists to join our esteemed faculty at Albany Medical College. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice academic vascular neurology at one of the nation's recognized "Top 100" Stroke Hospitals and a New York State-designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Position Highlights:
- Academic Environment: Engage in meaningful teaching and mentorship of medical students, neurology residents, and vascular neurology fellows as part of Albany Medical College, one of the nation's oldest private medical schools.
- Clinical Scope: Participate in a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, supported by experienced APPs, with a flexible call schedule.
- Collaborative Team: Join a multidisciplinary group including vascular neurologists, neurointensivists, neurosurgeons, stroke-trained nurse practitioners, and a 5-member neuroendovascular team available 24/7.

Competitive base salary range for assistant or associate professor starting at $250,000-270,000 plus incentive bonus opportunities. Rank and salary commensurate with experience.
