Position OverviewThe Academic Success Student Website and Data Assistant will primarily support the Academic Success Operations staff by updating website content and assisting with data management. Job Description60% Website Content Management
  • Complete KU CMS Essentials I Training.
  • Complete KU CMS Essentials II Training.
  • Update website content for Academic Success websites.
  • Use TDX Ticketing system to process and complete website content update requests.
30% Data Management
  • Run reports and export related data as needed.
  • Gather, verify, and clean data for First Destination Survey reporting.
10% Other System Support
  • Update student instructions and user guides for systems supported by Academic Success Operations.
Required Qualifications
  1. Ability to work 10 hours per week.
  2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel as demonstrated in the application materials.
  3. Commitment to high quality customer service as demonstrated in the application materials.
  4. Meticulous attention to detail.
  5. Maintain at or above a 2.50 GPA
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Eligible for Federal Work Study through KU Financial Aid
  2. Demonstrated ability to learn new technology systems.
  3. Experience multitasking / executing multiple projects simultaneously as demonstrated in the application materials.
Position RequirementsDuring the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).Employment Conditions(1) Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by the unit leadership and HR.

(2) This is an hourly/non-exempt position.
