We are seeking a seasoned Academic & Career Counselor with a strong background in school-based counseling, now ready to bring their expertise into a consulting environment. This role focuses on guiding students in Grades 8-12 across different boards (CBSE/ICSE/IB/IGCSE), helping them make informed decisions on subject choices, career paths, and profile-building strategies through the use of psychometric tools and personalized roadmaps.

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to academic stages and interests.
• Help students in Grades 9-10 select suitable subjects based on strengths, interests, and career goals.
• Guide students in aligning academics and co-curriculars with long-term objectives.
• Facilitate career exploration sessions using assessment data and higher education trends.
• Educate students and parents about academic pathways, interdisciplinary options, and career possibilities.
• Provide insights on competitive exams, profile requirements, and university admissions (India and abroad).

• Develop customized roadmaps for each student, based on future academic and career aspirations.
• Recommend and support participation in relevant internships, extracurriculars, summer schools, volunteering, and certification programs.
• Track student development over time, maintaining detailed counseling records and plans.

• Administer and interpret a range of assessments, including:
• Personality tests (e.g., MBTI)
• Aptitude & interest inventories
• Learning style and value-based assessments
• Translate test results into actionable guidance for students and parents.

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in school or academic counseling (preferably K-12).
• Certification in psychometric assessments.
• Knowledge of various education systems: CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, etc.
• Familiarity with both Indian and international post-secondary study options.

• Experience with digital counseling and psychometric platforms.
• Demonstrated success in stream selection and college/career placements.
• Understanding of global university admissions and evolving career trends.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students and parents.
• Strong knowledge of adolescent development and academic ecosystems.
• Proficiency in psychometric test interpretation and profile design.
• Ethical, empathetic, and student-centered counseling approach.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a consulting setup.
• Exposure to digital tools, CRM systems, and data-driven counseling.
