Join our dynamic Guest Services Team and help create lasting memories for Adventure Aquarium visitors. The Guest Services team member will work closely with the Guest Experience Team to create a fun environment for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include managing guest entry, ensuring smooth guest flow, and overseeing the operation of attractions. You'll also deliver outstanding guest service by addressing concerns and answering inquiries. This position is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring a friendly, helpful demeanor at all times.
What you'll do - Utilize register to sell general admission tickets via cash and credit transactions
- Actively upsell general admission tickets to annual passes and other partner tickets
- Greet Guests as they arrive at ticketing and guest entrance
- Ticket Booth scanning
- Operate all ride attractions while abiding by safety procedures and policies
- Maintain cleanliness in work area
What you'll bring - High School Diploma preferred but not required
- 6 months - 1 year of customer service experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, outgoing, and proactive individual
- Cash handling experience
- Ability to work weekends and holidays with occasional evenings
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Allergies related to animals or plants that may interfere with work performance must be controlled through medication or protective equipment.
- Ability to remain on foot for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend and stoop, and walk long distances
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
