Job Location: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm - Hybrid - At the office Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday, Altamonte Springs, FL

The role you'll contribute:

A Research Analyst for Consumer Insights in the Planning and Research department is principally responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting data to formulate reports based upon the research findings. The Analyst must have strong initiative and follow-through and be able to anticipate the needs of clients. He/she must also be resourceful, professional, and a team player. The Research Analyst for the Consumer Insights arm of the Planning and Research Department must have a primary research background as well as the skillset to analyze secondary data. He/she must be able to apply both qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data, handle numerous tasks simultaneously, prioritize, meet deadlines, prepare written client deliverables, present the findings, and produce substantiated recommendations. The position requires coordination of projects with diverse groups and an ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. Must be skilled communicator and have the ability to interact, manage, and instruct all levels of employees in the department.

The value you'll bring to the team:

  • Support the Primary Research Manager on the Consumer Insights team
  • Conduct, analyze and report findings from qualitative and quantitative research methods:
    • Qualitative Research: Write discussion guides and conduct qualitative research including in-depth interviews and focus groups
    • Quantitative Research: Design and evaluate quantitative surveys created internally and externally
  • Utilize findings from qualitative sessions to develop quantitative surveys
  • Use statistical software tools to analyze quantitative surveys using a variety of statistical methods
  • Collect and analyze primary and secondary data to highlight industry trends, consumer demographics, preferences, etc.
  • Illustrate data graphically and translate complex findings into written text and presentations
  • Prepare reports of findings, illustrate data graphically, and translate complex findings into written text and presentations
  • Present the findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership and internal clients
  • Maintain relations with internal client teams and vendors

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Accounting, or related field Required
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Psychology or related field Preferred
  • 1+ experience in a related field Required
  • Proven primary and secondary market research analysis experience
  • Ability to design and execute research methodologies as well as analyze data from qualitative research, quantitative surveys and secondary databases
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to draw information and conclusions from raw data
  • Expertise in research and evaluation methods, and survey techniques
  • Demonstrated proficiency in database programs and data analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, Access, QlickView, SQL, etc.
  • Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have ability to prioritize and analyze issues within department, and be able to perform effectively while working within tight time constraints
  • Responsive to ever-changing Matrix of department and hospital needs and acts timely and accordingly with changes
  • Expresses ideas and thoughts well, both written and verbally
  • Exhibits good listening and comprehension skills
  • Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word; working knowledge of SPSS, survey techniques, and qualitative research methodology
  • Background in research, psychology, advertising, marketing, or related field
