Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize project resources for projects
  • Work with integrators to properly plan project implementation ensuring all necessary hardware and equipment is available prior to starting work
  • Ensure technicians have all the necessary tools, ladders, etc. prior to starting a project
  • Direct and advise tech crews to efficiently complete work in the field
  • Make regular site visits to ensure project success
  • Provide quality control for all installation work
  • Mentor and build rapport with RPM technicians
  • Plan and prepare for delays and problems in the field
  • Collect, read, and distribute daily reports for each active project
  • Update RPM's Project Management System with the most current project information daily
  • Review field employee timesheets and work to fix timesheet errors
  • Monitor and drive projects to complete in the scheduled timeframe and within RPM's budget
  • Review and update project percentage of completions by labor category every week
  • Use RPM's time tracking system to track time against projects

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Project Management Experience
  • 3+ years of commercial A/V experience installing in the field and building racks
  • Extensive knowledge of building sub-mounts and custom mounting solutions for A/V equipment
  • Train and mentor others
  • Competency and experience reading and following A/V Drawing sets and bid documents
  • Broad understanding of typical A/V components and how they are installed and configured
  • Literate in Microsoft Excel and basic personal computing (Windows)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Friendly, flexible, and approachable communicator

Desired Qualifications:

  • AVIXA CTS & CTS-I
  • OSHA 10/30 certification
  • Mounting and construction of all-thread and uni-struct structures
  • Training or Certifications in Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Harman, Chief, and QSC
