I am looking for a HGV groundworker to work in the Newcastle area on behalf of the council. The successful candidate will drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle across various sites as well as be responsible for assisting groundworkers with duties such as laying kerbs, pothole repairs, flagging, tarmacking, drainage, digging footings and general labouring.
The Operative will receive:
- 15 - 16 P/H (Umbrella or CIS)
- Long run of work
The successful candidate will be expected to complete:
- Driving 7.5 tonne vehicles across various sites to deliver materials.
- Laying kerbs, tarmacking, digging footings, drainage and general labouring as well as other civil engineering works
- 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am - 12:30pm on Friday.
I am really keen in speaking to anyone who has:
- Previous experience in the above
- A 7.5 tonne driving license
- CSCS Card and any other relevant tickets
- General groundworks experience.
