4th-6th Grade Flag Football Coach (Fall 2024)
Reports To: Athletic Director; Academy Director

Qualifications:
? 18 years of age or older
? Coaching experience preferred
? Proven ability to work cooperatively with student-athletes
? Proven ability to act in a professional manner in adverse situations
? Advanced knowledge of the sport and its techniques
? Willingness and desire to be involved in all aspects of building a successful program
? Must pass all required clearances

Essential Duties (may include, but are not limited to):
? Emphasize the importance of excellent sportsmanship
? Maintain an open line of communication and provide appropriate information to parents, student-athletes, and the community
? Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as the head coach is the face of the program and a
representative of the Academy
? Plan, organize, and execute off-season, summer, and pre-season training and preparation programs
? Hold structured practices appropriate for the skill level of players
? Develop and implement strategies for competition situations
? Follow policies and procedures set forth by MHSAA, school district, and athletic director
? Supervise student-athletes from the time the first participant reports until the last player leaves after an event or practice
? Active involvement with fundraising
? Maintain a current inventory of equipment
? Motivate, guide, and mentor student-athletes
? Perform other functions and duties as assigned by the supervisor
