Helps maintain uninterrupted supply of parts to productions departments, as well as identify and find appropriate supplies requested by operators. Attendant will inventory, store, and distribute hand tools, maintenance equipment, and general supplies using our AS400 green screen. Employee will unpack, receive, and stock any new/used incoming product using our Citrix database system. Attendant will work with vendors on vendor managed product and all incoming and outgoing maintenance repairable items. Attendant may be asked to load and unload trucks so a fork lift license will be necessary along with performing daily cycle counts, crib upkeep, and monitoring recyclables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives store room commodities and places in correct/ store bin location

• Issues all store room commodities to employees recording department and employee number.

• Keeps records of components re-issued and returned by workers

• Prepares daily inventory and requisitions stock as necessary

• Relieves inventory of issuance in AS400 Green screen

• Unpacks and inventories new components and places in correct stock location.

• Maintains and creates Mapics numbers.

• Keeps inventory in all three crib stock locations.

• Prepares and sends out all repairable items, having contact with vendor and even loading items on their trucks.

• Regularly scheduled follow up training and competency evaluation will take place annually and be included with an employee's annual evaluation summary and maintained by HR in the employee records.

• Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor.

• Responsible for sending out all recyclables to their vendors.

• Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Blood-borne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics

• When necessary, participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job

• Assists the Supply Store Attendant to order, receive and issue tools and supplies needed

• Communicates with suppliers to establish minimum/maximum order points

• Sort- remove all items from an area that are not needed for current operations

• Set in order- arrange and label needed items so that they are easy to use, find and put away

• Shine- sweep or mop floors, wipe off machinery, make sure everything stays clean

• Standardize- method you use to maintain the items described above

• Sustain- making a habit of properly maintaining correct procedures

• Moves Large parts to Plant two for storage, keeping track of all

• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Works in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision. Routine responsibilities and duties involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards of practice, requiring the use of good judgment. Must work with a high degree of accuracy.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

• The job works in conditions with frequent exposure to loud noise, heavy lifting, heavy overhead lifting, heavy machinery and sharp tools.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Standing 70% -80% of the time; walking

• Bending, crouching, twisting and reaching required

• The person in this environment with multiple priorities. There is no travel required to fulfill this position.
