We at Blend Supply are a leading coatings supplier in the Aerospace industry and growing in Industrial supplies and coatings. We are looking for the right technically minded, proactive, confident, and fast-paced industrial sales closer.
This position requires a person that will seize all sales opportunities for growing and increasing overall sales revenue and volumes with the products, services and technical expertise that we provide collectively as a team, as it pertains to the coatings, consumables and safety products within the industrial space. The 3M Certified Specialist also will establish new customer relationships, develop sales territories, and collaborate closely with the Blend field team through joint customer calls to ensure seamless integration and exceptional service delivery.
JOB SUMMARY
The 3M Certified Specialist is the key liaison between 3M and Blend Supply. The Certified Specialist is dedicated to the growth of 3M business and supports Blend Supply customers and sales staff, as well as 3M representatives. The 3M product focus is assessed annually and adjusted based on performance, company needs, and 3M's annual Merchandising Plan.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
The 3M Certified Specialist will participate in training in St. Paul, MN for two weeks each year. Local development consists of online training modules and in-house 3M representative mentoring. Further training and development are provided by 3M.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Certified Specialist prepares and maintains a formal business plan. The Specialist conducts end user calls that advocate solutions for the customer while promoting Blend Supply and 3M products. The Specialist manages a pipeline of sales opportunities that meet target goals and tracks the progress of these goals with company management and 3M. All of this is done while maintaining a professional, positive results-driven attitude that reflects commitment to Blend Supply and 3M products and solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in sales, customer success, or account management, with a track record of building and expanding territories.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
