Description
A floater utility operator is a versatile and skilled employee who can operate all machines in the production line and fill in for other positions as needed. A floater utility operator is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of the products, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment. A floater utility operator must have good communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A floater utility operator must also be flexible and adaptable to changing work demands and schedules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform machine set-up, operation, and maintenance according to standard operating proceduresMonitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are metTroubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during productionAssist other operators and team members as requiredFollow safety rules and regulations at all timesReport any incidents, accidents, or malfunctions to the supervisorMaintain a clean and organized work areaCoordinating with other operators, technicians, engineers, and managers to ensure smooth operation of the facility or plant
RequirementsProven experience in operating different machineryAbility to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specificationsKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations for operating different machinesSkills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and quality controlFlexibility to adapt to changing work assignments and schedulesBENEFITS:
