Salary: $28 - $32 per hour

A bit about us:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced 2nd Shift Lead to manage our paint line team, which also supports light assembly operations, at our Valencia facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills who is ready to step into a growing leadership track. The selected candidate will play a key role in day-to-day production and is expected to transition into a Supervisor role within six months based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead second shift operations on the paint line, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity

Coordinate workflow, delegate tasks, and monitor daily output to meet production targets

Support and guide team members working in paint and light mechanical assembly

Ensure paint preparation, coating, and curing processes meet company and customer standards

Perform visual quality checks and assist in resolving any production or material issues

Communicate shift progress and issues to supervisors and other departments

Provide hands-on training to team members and help build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Promote and enforce a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies

Job Details

Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with the team

Working knowledge of paint line operations; understanding of curing times, paint quality, and surface prep is preferred

Some exposure to or understanding of sheet metal fabrication is helpful

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Positive, team-first attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Candidates must demonstrate potential and interest in growing into a Supervisor role
