We're Hiring: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing Environment

One of our clients is currently looking to bring a Maintenance Technician onto their team - someone who's hands-on, reliable, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The pay range is $22-$40 per hour depending on experience.

This position has a $5 shift differential as well.


About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. This includes everything from preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to supporting facility upgrades and new equipment installations. You'll work alongside a solid team in a production environment where safety, quality, and collaboration are essential.


What You'll Be Doing:


• Perform preventive maintenance across the facility


• Diagnose, repair, and adjust mechanical and electrical issues


• Tackle root causes - not just quick fixes


• Safely use hand and shop tools


• Keep maintenance areas, toolboxes, and the storeroom organized


• Properly log and track parts and tools used


• Wear and maintain proper PPE at all times


• Proactively flag and help schedule any needed repairs


• Communicate effectively with team members across all shifts


• Submit accurate daily schedules and notes on tasks completed


• Support production uptime while maintaining food safety standards


• Prioritize both team and food safety in every task


• Be a team player and live our client's core values


• Jump in on other tasks as needed - no two days are exactly the same


What We're Looking For:


• High school diploma or GED


• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting


• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical/electrical knowledge


• Hands-on experience with tools, sensors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.


• Ability to work with voltages up to 480V


• Experience with PLCs and HMIs is a plus


• Able to lift 25-150 lbs and handle physical tasks throughout the day


• Comfortable working in environments with cold temps, wet surfaces, or loud noise


• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, basic software navigation)


• Forklift certified or able to become certified


• Valid driver's license (some driving may be required)


• Willing to work overtime and weekends when needed


• Strong communicator and team-minded attitude
