Whisker is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan and Juneau, Wisconsin with 700+ passionate team members. We work in person 4+ days a week.
What You'll Do:
The Logistics & Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of fulfilling customer orders, optimizing product flow, and supervising teams. The Logistics & Fulfillment Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse & Distribution leadership team to meet all daily requirements and with senior leadership to make Whisker the employer of choice in our region.
The work location for this position is the Caine Warehouse in Reeseville, WI. However, the training period will take place at the Whisker Warehouse in Juneau, WI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages the day-to-day fulfillment activities, material handlers, pick & pack, inventory, and organization of the warehouse
Develops, tracks, and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Participates in and conducts forklift training and ensures safe utilization of equipment
Directly and through hourly team leaders, directs the activities of team members working on one shift in order to achieve daily departmental goals
Coordinates with warehouses and vendors
Interacts with cross-functional departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Omnichannel, and Accounting and with plant functions including Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Shipping, and Management
Establishes operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
Conducts cycle counts and tracks inventory on a regular basis
Develops and enforces procedures to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of wholesale and international orders, including pallet building and parcel
Problem-solves errors to establish root causes and countermeasures
Establishes warehouse best practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
Participates in the hiring process and helps train warehouse personnel and issues work assignments; plans for future hiring
Compiles, analyzes, and reports on various aspects of obtaining, maintaining, and distributing inventories
Maintains and applies knowledge of current policies, processes and regulations
May be required to flex hours to support all areas of the business
Will perform additional responsibilities when required
Leadership Responsibilities:
Directly and through hourly team leaders, manage the activities of departments and team members working on one shift. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Whisker policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, and hiring associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing issues through coaching and discipline, and upholding safety and quality guidelines.
Requirements:
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and/or logistics environment that included pick-and-pack and fulfillment enterprises
Experience shipping and/or receiving domestic and international orders
Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet riders, and manual and/or electric pallet jacks
Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
Demonstrates strong attendance to lead by example and ensure team continuity
Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptions
High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate others
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleagues
Basic workers' compensation and insurance (property & casualty, equipment, etc.) knowledge
Understanding of behavior-based safety principles
Comfortable with office pets (cats, dogs)
Experience in implementing 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement practices
Not Required but Nice to Have.
Experience working with SAP (ERP system)
Experience working with FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS, and/or third-party logistics partners
