Position: 2nd Shift Press Operator
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30 PM 12:00 Midnight
Position Summary The Press Operator is responsible for the setup, start-up, operation, and shutdown of injection and compression molding machines to produce high-quality molded rubber products. This role requires close attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow technical instructions and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities Set up and operated injection and compression molding equipment
Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing instructions, and blueprints
Monitor machines for proper function and adjust settings as needed
Inspect finished products for defects such as non-fills, flash, discoloration, or contamination
Remove sprues, flash, or other excess material as required
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Complete additional duties as assigned by the Department Lead or Supervisor
Qualifications Experience operating rubber molding presses (Injection & Compression) preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and manufacturing instructions
Familiarity with rubber production processes (molding, milling, etc.)
Basic mechanical measurement and instrumentation skills
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
