Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Representative to be based near Houston. This Sales Representative will be responsible for strategically growing new business and expanding business within TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, and FL. Must have experience calling into either pharmaceutical research, petroleum, distilleries, food & beverage, flavor, or sugar refineries. They will use their consultative, strategic sales approach to grow business using a top-down, relationship building sales approach. Work for a nimble company that will nurture your entrepreneurial spirit. Must be self-motivated, driven, strategic, and a strong relationship builder.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree (in the sciences, chemistry, biology A PLUS)
- Technical Sales experience within pharmaceutical research, petroleum, or food & beverage accounts across the Western U.S.
- Must thrive in a dynamic environment
- Experience selling into pharmaceutical research, petroleum, distilleries, food & beverage, flavor, or sugar refineries
- Must be strategic - will develop territory by building relationships with customers
- Positive, multi-tasker, self-motivated, and team-player
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- No issues with travel - ability to conduct face to face meetings/demos/installations/trainings with customers and prospects across the territory
- You decide when you travel to your accounts
