Are you a caring and committed individual looking to make a real difference in a child's life? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Northwich is seeking a passionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external agencies to deliver effective support plans.
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil, promoting their confidence and independence.
Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and planning meetings.
What We're Looking For:
A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 capacity.
A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to support individual needs.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
