Packs bags of finished product into boxes for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Packs up to 80 bags per minute into boxes.
- Counts number of bags that go into each case.
- Lifts boxes onto conveyors.
- Palletizes boxes onto skid.
- Spot checks seals, weight, code date and overall appearance of finished packages.
- Sorts used cardboard.
- Supplies packing lines with cartons.
- Stickers sale priced items as needed.
- Inspects finished potato chips.
- Assists customers, operates cash register, and prepares daily sales reports upon completion of shift
- Provides cash receipts, credit receipts, and reports to cash office on a daily basis
- Pulls product from the warehouse to keep retail store fully stocked
- Prepares and arranges the pickup of donations and special orders
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general equivalency diplomas (GED) and;
- Three to six months related experience and/or training;
- Equivalent combination or education and experience.
