Our client is a Managed Services Provider seeking a 1st Line Engineer to join their support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering first-line IT support, acting as the primary contact for customers, and efficiently managing incidents, service requests, and event alerts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Resolve technical issues across hardware, software, applications, and networks.
  2. Maintain accurate customer records and perform administrative tasks.
  3. Triaging and troubleshooting a range of technical issues.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Server Infrastructure including Hyper-V, Active Directory, Clustering, SCVMM, and SQL Server.
  • Microsoft Desktop Infrastructure or equivalent experience.
  • Azure Platform experience.
  • VMware Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Supporting Windows 7/10/11.
  • Experience with Exchange/O365 and Office products.
  • Using remote support tools.
  • Support for laptops/desktops and thin clients.
