Our client is a Managed Services Provider seeking a 1st Line Engineer to join their support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering first-line IT support, acting as the primary contact for customers, and efficiently managing incidents, service requests, and event alerts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve technical issues across hardware, software, applications, and networks.
- Maintain accurate customer records and perform administrative tasks.
- Triaging and troubleshooting a range of technical issues.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Server Infrastructure including Hyper-V, Active Directory, Clustering, SCVMM, and SQL Server.
- Microsoft Desktop Infrastructure or equivalent experience.
- Azure Platform experience.
- VMware Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Supporting Windows 7/10/11.
- Experience with Exchange/O365 and Office products.
- Using remote support tools.
- Support for laptops/desktops and thin clients.
