1-1 TA - Wigan:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a kind and compassionate teaching assistant to support a Year 3 pupil 1-1 at a lovely primary school near to Wigan.
The Role:
- Providing 1-1 support to a Year 3 pupil with SEN
- Regularly communicating with the class teacher to monitor progress
- Preparing learning resources and activities
Position Details:
- Location: Wigan
- Position: 1-1 TA
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Hours: 8:45am-3:30pm
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired
- Previous experience supporting SEN, in particular Autism and ADHD
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
