Job Title: 1:1 SEN Tutor (Full-Time Availability)

Salary: 25- 35 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Tutor to provide personalised support to students with special educational needs in the Croydon area. This is a full-time position, ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for inclusive education and a strong track record of working with children who require additional support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 tuition tailored to the individual learning needs of the students
Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH and speech & language difficulties
Implement EHCP strategies and work collaboratively with schools, families, and external agencies
Track progress and adapt learning plans to ensure ongoing development
Provide both academic and emotional support, helping build confidence and independence
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a 1:1 or small group setting
Relevant teaching or tutoring qualifications (e.g., QTS, HLTA, PGCE, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, during school hours)
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
