Youth Mental Health Therapist

Anderson Health Services is seeking an innovative Mental Health Therapist who can help youth take ownership of their treatment. We're looking for someone who can provide age- and developmentally- appropriate counseling that keep youth engaged. Caseload is 8-10 youth, ages 5 - 17. The position will provide individual and group therapy sessions to help youth heal from their traumatic experiences. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide developmentally appropriate therapy to youth and adolescents. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of individualized treatment plans for youth. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including Nursing and Case Management. Display competence and responsiveness to cultural differences. MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 1 year experience in adolescent or child mental health. All eligible candidates must have one of the following licenses in North Carolina.
